Each camera aached will have an internal IP address assigned to it, and displayed. See Fig.2
Select the camera you wish to connect to and click “Open”. This will open up that cameras Homepage in a new
web browser window.
Setup Tips
If no camera details are displayed, wait a few minutes, and then try clicking “Refresh” to search your •
network again.
In your web browsers address bar, there will be an IP address (something similar to hp://192.168.1.100). •
This is the internal IP address of your camera. You can type this IP anyme when connected on the same
network to access your camera.
Depending on your internet setup, the IP address of your camera may change from me to me. If you •
ever need to re-check your IP address, re-run the Y-cam Setup program.
If you are trying to view the Y-cam for the rst me, your browser may prompt you to install or allow •
an “AcveX Control” or to allow or install a QuickTime or Flash control. Click on the bar that appears
at the top of the browser or the pop-up window and click “Install” or “Allow” and follow the on-screen
instrucons. You normally only need to install or allow this control once.
Homepage Live View
From your cameras Homepage, click on “Live View”. See Fig.3
The default username and password is as follows :
Username : admin
Password : 1234
You should now be viewing your camera live.
Camera Sengs Conguraon
In the top right-hand corner of the Live View page, click on “Sengs” and a new set of menus will appear. See
Fig. 4
Click on the word “Wizard” in the top right corner to start the camera setup process. The wizard window will
pop-up. Follow the basic on-screen instrucons.
If you wish to setup WiFi on your camera, you will need to have your wireless key, password and security
encrypon used (if any) that you use to access your WiFi.
With this Wizard, you will be able to setup the:
Name of Camera•
Quality of Picture you wish to view•
Time Zone•
System Time•
WiFi Setup•
TCP/IP Setup•
Most default sengs the camera oers during this wizard will normally be ne for the standard user and
should help you get your camera set-up to a basic level. Once this is completed, close the Wizard and your
web browser, and use Y-cam Setup soware again to search and nd your camera on your network. Now your
camera will be fully operaonal on your local network.
